There are several types of Kavadi's which is depends upon the devotees creativity. From the south part of Tamilnadu , Kanyakumari District the Kavadi Kettu ( kavadi kattu) is a festival where everyone celebrate it with a unity. 

This is celebrated from Parasery to Colachel including Eraniel, Thingal Nagar Puthukadai, Nagercoil and few parts of Trivandrum. Thumbavilai Amman Kovil Eraniel - Virtual 360 View

A Virtual 360 View of Thumbavilai Amman Kovil Eraniel which is situated in Kottayam. This Amman statue is different among the other Gods statue in Eraniel. In Karthigai (Tamil) month the daily special pooja known as Karthigai Sirapu (Special) will be held. On other days the temple will open by 6am in morning and evening by 6 pm. Daily poojas will be done on every day.
